Norinco 12 ga lever actions... anyone played with one ?

Post by preventec47 »

I always wondered about these and lately after shooting slugs
out of my H&R single shot I am really impressed with these big
bore solutions for short range work.

I changed the topic from Saiga to Norinco as I made a mistake...

Do they make a lever? I thought they only have AK based semi-autos.

Big lever on the side though... :D

Here's a site that might be useful. http://www.saiga-12.com/

I haven't looked at it in any detail. They also have a Saiga forum.

OOPS my mistake. I was confusing with the Norinco 87 shotgun

http://www.impactguns.com/store/SS-11662.html

which was very popular in the Cowboy Action shooting competitions...

But hey those Saigas with the large cap magazines sure look interesting.
Actually, AK47 12 guage concept is a little bit scary... awesome firepower
no question.

Bump.

There are members here who know about these guns. If you can edit your subject title it might get their attention.

I handled one in a shop and it looked pretty rough but I understand the US importer gets better guns.

I love my '87 copy :D
darn fun gun to shoot. Didn't group all that great with the cheap Winchester slugs I tried one day at the range, but I imagine with better ammo it would tighten up.

I had to tinker with it when I got it first (one of the extractor springs was weak so I had to make a new one) but now it works like a top.

Do you mean this gun?
Besides the NP3 and Rogard finish, this one has had my standard action work plus the positive "Top Gun" feed two mods for the CAS shooters.

This is one of the Cap special additions. It has choke tubes and a good recoil pad.

I've heard from a couple of different sources that the company in China that produced them was sold and is currently "retooling". Hopefully they'll start up production again soon.
