I have a replacement AR on the way. An early '90s Colt AR Sporter Lightweight like I had that was sold off. I still, by sheer dumb luck have the EOTech sight that I had on it. I'd taken it off because the batteries had corroded. EOTech replaced the sight Free of Charge as they were having some problems. I just need the Scout Scope Mount. Brownells advertises them but they don't have any in stock . Anyone know of a supplier?
This was a Wicked cool setup, and the rifle that I'd kept by my bedside for many years. The carbine was deadly accurate with 62 gr green tips and any heavy bullet. I learned a lot from this little rifle about bullets weights and velocities. I'm really excited to get another one. I have two other Colt ARs but as much as I like them, they just aren't the same.

Funny you should mention that …… I was just looking at MidwayUSA for some blemished/clearance bullets and saw this.

NCSTAR is not the quality product you were probably looking for but for $12 it could get your by until you find what you want.

I got a cheapie like that and use it off and on; works fine.
Not much to go wrong; it's just a hunk of aluminum with an embedded steel threaded stud.
