New to me - Browning Medalist
Just bought this Belgian Medalist. It's in pretty good shape for its age (year of manufacture - 1964) and shoots well.

Congrats I’ve liked the Browning Medalist for a good many years ! However I’ve never found one at a price I was willing to pay . We have a case done in the shop for sale now at around $1800 . Oh by the way I can’t see the picture .

Hopefully the photo's there now.
I paid $500 Australian for it which is about US$350. It came with all the bits and pieces other than the original screwdriver in a pretty rough blue lined case.

Re: New to me - Browning Medalist
I had one, short of welding the screws that held the rib onto the barrel I couldn't keep the sights tight. Was constantly shooting itself loose- I traded it off.
Still no picture.

The Browning Medalist is one of the nicest target pistols ever made. Back when I shot Bullseye matches they were not often seen, but those who shot them did quite well, and they were extremely accurate.
I can't see the picture either.

Apologies for the picture failures, I think I've finally got it sorted out.

Yep, I see it now! Did you happen to get the optional custom case that some came with too?

I have one of those in a left hand version. I used it for competition when I shot on the Air National Guard Pistol team. I bought this gun new. Have not shot it in years. A Browning rep told me only a very few left hand versions were made.

No, mine came in a blue lined case with a gray cover. The case is something of a wreck but all the the parts are there apart from the original screwdriver.
