This guy never fails to amaze me with his creative inventions. Ole Pitchy has a mind that never stops thinking.

We're you drinking that Pepsi by itself or did ya add a mixer? :D

Here's my can crusher. Not as elaborate as yours. Forgot how many thousands of beer cans this thing crushed. Works good as a tamper too when I want to keep dirt from getting washed away.---6

I use a 'can expander' instead of a can crusher.

I fill them with water and shoot them with whatever gun is handy......THEN I recycle them.....

Most of us remember the deposit on bottles. Heck as a kid it kept us in bubble gum.

When my state mandated deposits on bottles and cans the neighbor kid caught on and did pretty good for a pre teen. But slowly the redemption place closed and no one took the containers back. Oh and that mandated fee, guess who keeps it.

The money for scrap aluminum was once not too bad about it’s not worth it to collect it any more
At about this time trash companies were force to start collecting recyles. Of course they charge for that
And recently we found many of the trash haulers were taking it to landfills any way. Seems the cost of sorting was more than they recouped.

All this in the name of environmentalism. Inlove how politicians think or don’t.

I hadn't seen that. That is pretty cool, buddy.
I don't crush mine. I wait till I get a couple trash bags full and bring em back for the deposit.
