My deepest sympathy to you friend. This is by far the hardest part of having a pet.
It's hard to let go, but they'll always be in our heart.

They sure bring joy during their lifetimes.

Humans tend to be beat-down-by-life, annoyed to be bothered, and bored by routine most of the time, but It seems like dogs are always eager for an adventure, happy to see you, and full of hope. We need dogs.

I have lost dogs to old age and other things. It is never easy, but the happy memories help. When you are ready for another, remember that you are not replacing a good friend. You are starting another chapter in your life with a new friend. Until then, keep the memories close.

Sorry to hear your sad news. Dogs have a rough deal when it comes to their years of active life but they sure pack a lot of love into a relatively short time.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Been through this four times, and it is always this hard. I'd rather break up with my best girl than lose my dog.

Travel well my friend. Godspeed. Thanks for making our world a better place.
We used to work with people recovering from TBI. He was amazing. He could sense epilepsy. He would flush deer and rabbits. He was always the alpha dog in any dog group. He was the gentleman at every human gathering. Good guy. Rarely spoke. Would raise the hair on your neck when he did.

Sorry Tycer, it's never easy to say goodbye to a good dog. They take such a big piece of our soul when they leave us.
