Conversations of a 6-Year old

Post by Pete44ru »

.

It looks like my 6 y.o. Grandson is both deep & funny, unlike his younger brother.

Two of his recent conversations with his Mom (my youngest daughter):

When he got itchy, his Mom put some lotion on him.
She told him that the lotion will help.
He said: " Oh - so it’s like the lotion fights the itch ? "
She replied: "Yeah"
He then said: " Mom, I really hope the lotion wins ".

Mom's breakfast conversation with him:

Son to Mom: " I want to have lots of kids - I want identical twins ".
Mom: " Oh yeah ? Boys or girls ? "
Son: " Both "
Mom: " That sounds like trouble to me ".
Son: " Mom, actually I want like, 9–10 kids ".
Mom:

It's nice to listen to a kids take on life sometimes.....
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Very true John. Let the kids be kids while they can.

(It really stinks when the really tough part of life takes on kids...)

Art said it best. If you don't know what he said you're too young to understand.

I am only 54, but I know about Art Linkletter. He was absolutely right.

One of my nephews had the ability to boil things down to their essence.

After his first day of school "Mom, unsign me up".

After a particularly challenging day at school "Dad, if I was a girl I'd cry".
