If I had a mill I would make a monoblock to fit my CZ 410 and then barrel it in either 22 hornet or 218 Bee. Perfect for charging ground hogs!

Uh , NO I could most likely get a Parker VH 410 and a Parker VH 28 for that price and atleast they should appreciate in value where as that thing will depreciate .

Interesting, however not at that price.

.

On a visit to Las Vegas in 2002, I attended the big Safari gun show at the now missing Riviera Hotel, where I was privilged to meet CSC owner Tony Galazan in his booth, and handle a .22LR SxS just like that one (at Tony's invitation).

It was sweet handling, but @ $22,000, way beyond my means at that time.

I've handled one once too -- at their New Britain CT showroom.

Price was less than what Pete quotes above -- so maybe it was used? It wasn't as pretty as the one on GunBroker...

But for sure, it was SWEET and a great example of ARTISTRY in a 22 rimfire.

You can buy a Chapuis double in .22 Hornet for 25-33% of that.

Or buy a nice SxS .410 Shotgun and insert -- and then index or "time" * -- two of these chamber inserts...

* Shoot at 12 o'clock, then 1, 2, 3 etc. to find where the 2 barrels align best to the bead (sight picture).

Beautiful rifle, but $37,5+!

That's more than I paid for my first house! Holy Smokes! It would be cool to have that kind of $ though!

4.75 lb? What a beast. This one is 2.2 lb and is in .22 Hornet. I think, though, it costs about 4 times as much.

it was just a perfect rabbit gun.
