Nice I’ve been wanting a Mauser Model 66 in 243 WIN for about 45 years ever since I had one that belonged to a friend in my hands when I was 13 !
Parkers , Mannlicher Schoenauer’s , 6.5mm's and my family in the Philippines !

You got ripped off! The bolt is on the wrong side. For me. Beautiful rifle. Hope you enjoy it! Even if it is backwards. :P

Beautiful. I’ve always wanted a full stocked rifle. But, I haven’t seen a lefty version.

Barbarossa,
You’ve got nice taste in guns. Unusually don’t say much here yet it seems many of my recent posts are compliments about your rifles.
Enjoy.

Very nice ! ! . :)

The only thing that keeps it from being perfect (IMO - YMMV) is that it doesn't have a spoon bolt handle.... 8)

That's easily remedied, though...…….

Congrats! I too like those Mannlicher stocks. I once built a 308 Win from an old Mannlicher Schoenauer action and a 30 cal water cooled machine gun barrel. I even put the butter knife bolt handle on it. I've no idea how many hours it took me to get that rotary magazine to work with the 308. If I counted my time at $.50 an hour I could have bought a new Steyr cheaper. Traded it for a 4x5 Speed Graphic.

Kids are overrated. You got the best side of that deal. Now as long as neither of the boys read this their mom won't be too angry.
