For Terry Murbach's widow

Post by AmBraCol »

I wasn't sure if should post here, in the Classifieds or in the Memorial section - so opted on here.

As most of you know, Terry Murbach passed on earlier this year. His collection is being offered for sale and proceeds go to his widow. There may be an item or two here of interested to folks on this forum. Rifles (including leverguns), pistols, revolvers and even shotguns.

Thanks Paul. Terry was one of a kind and I was proud to be his friend. Judy can use the help ... and our prayers!

I hope Terry's widow gets top prices for the collection, I'd be proud to own any one of his guns.
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

I'll put it this way, a well known person in the shooting sports industry said, (roughly) "I'd told my wife to dispose of my collection when I'm gone by having two or three auctions. I've now changed my mind and want Bobby Tyler (the folks disposing of Terry's guns) to handle it."

No auction, just decent market prices on Terry's guns. Follow the link, you may find something you need. Most of what I was interested in has moved on down the road already, not that I'm in a position to buy right now anyway.

The last I heard from Bobby Tyler, all the firearms on the site on July 09, 2019 were from Terry's estate. Haven't had a look to see what else is there (if anything) but the number keeps dwindling. If there's something you want - jump with both feet or it's gone before you know it. I inquired about one rifle, before I had a chance to request pics via email it was gone. Just as well, as a transfer right now is out of the question until reaching the US again. <sigh>

ANYWHO, get 'em while you can.

Paul,
Some nice rifles and at fair prices.
Unfortunately for me, none that I do not have or that I need to fill a gap. Tempted by the Winchester .22, but I already have one of those in .22 Mag and other Winnie 22s.

Thank you for the notice and lets hope some of us see something to buy.
