That pig would certainly mess up a field of grain. I don't want to run into one that size without an equalizer.

Nice!

I shot a pig years ago, 222 lbs of meat, was the best pork I've ever had. Though that pig is a bit bigger than mine.

It's hard to tell from photographs, because all photos are from the side, but I'll make a wild guess... 700lbs?

In the message I got, the hunter stated 682 kg, which translates into 1,502 pounds. There's no way to convince me this is true. If I saw the scale reading I wouldn't believe it. If I weighed the hog myself and found this reading I wouldn't believe it.

If it's true... HOLY COW!

But I have to say that I don't quite believe it.

Then again... It wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.

It's still a huge animal.

Great trophy and thanks for posting it.

Photos can be very misleading, like one with the hunter 5 feet behind the GIANT Cape Buffalo, elephant, or bison. Such photos also make hunting rifles look to be anti-tank guns.
Without scales, we (land owner, dog handler, skinner, etc) all guesstimated this one to be 600 pounds.
Image
In this pic, I am about 1/2 behind and 1/2 to the side. The dead boar back to the left was estimated to be 250 pounds and Hogzilla appeared to be 3 times that size.

Without proper scales we will never know.

Do you have a photo of a man sitting or standing beside or in front of the hog?

Heck of a big hog, but I doubt the 1500 lb. estimate. Might even be twice it's actual weight.

I do not. I do have a video clip of the hog being dragged by a tractor, but have no idea of how to post it here.
