Good deal!

My wife and I are just short of 20, and counting. "Bliss" isn't the word I'd use to describe it all, but it appears both of us are aiming to match your 37 (and counting).

Congrats old timer and to your sweetheart Miss Norma. Seems like yesterday we were plowing the field and starting a crop. The old farm utensils are all rusted up and don't work anymore.

Congrats Norma and Lenn! I thought my first was only gonna last a couple of years... Then it was 16 and neither of us were anxious to keep going, but too lazy to go the trouble to dissolve the thing... Then it was 21... and she wanted out... I said ok... she changed her mind... Everytime we thought we'd call it quits, one of us would start working at keeping it together... and it IS bliss when you're both working at it! I don't think I'll ever do anything formal again... one good one is about all a cowboy can hope for! Be it cars, horses, or women.

Congratulations. My parents will reach 68 years of marriage in August. I guess it is all a matter of getting hitched to the right one. Looks fade, but overall quality stays true. Just like a good gun or other item.

I was going to say that must be some kind of record, but an internet search engine found this: 87 years!

Thanks for the nice comments fellers, all our problems were and are caused by other people mostly family and relatives, almost split us up a few times but we hung in there .
Lot of things we`d like to do but age and health may halt that for a while or for good, only God knows. :)

Wife and I celebrate 40 next month. Can't say it's always blissful, but we certainly have learned to live with each other's "flaws" and appreciate each other more each year. Of course she deserves a medal for putting up with me and my gun and car hobbies!

Congrats to Both of You Pitchy. :D .Momma and I are on 36. You wrote:"all our problems were and are caused by other people mostly family and relatives". We had the same issues, took quite a while to get them the message to leave us out of their problems.

On the 17th of this month, PillHer and I will reach 30 years. No shame in choosing well the first time and sticking by that choice.
