A really good article for Memorial Day Weekend.

My father and several Uncles & Aunts served in the thick of the fighting of WW2 …… 8th Air Force, Higgins boat in pacific, 3rd Armored Division, 6th Infantry Division, Hospital Nurse...… and it was only very late in their lives they would open up about their experiences so when they talk about receiving an award & attention that reminds them of their worst day of their life over and over again I understand (to the limited extent that I can understand such a thing).

As they say …… all gave some, some gave all.

Too bad Tibor Rubin was screwed over by his Sergeant. He should have been awarded the CMH 4 times. He loved this country enough that he performed superhuman feats.
