Looks like the door to where many of us would like to be.

Have you ever ridden that Penny Farthing?

Are you gonna ride that high wheel bike through it? I've never tried one of those but imagine it would be harder than kick starting a knuckle, which I have done but probly can't any more. Lotsa stuff I can't do any more.

Imagination? OK......put a shower head on the other side ...then put up a sign advertising free showers for females....preferably between the ages of 18-30.....mount the "door to nowhere" about 20' from your workshop, then drill a half inch hole about head high in the wall.----6

I made the high bike from a old hay rake wheel, rode it once down a slight hill crashed and burned so that was enough of that.

That's just wonderful, Lenn. Really does "open a door" to the imagination.
I briefly owned a high wheel and never did successfully mount the thing.

Here in southwest OH, local town has grant money and they're re-habbing old homes.

They set one of these doors in a small flowerbed with a couple other decorations in the front yard to show the building they're working on.

Pitchy, you ever see Mrs Winchester's house see wouldn't let the builders stop building and she had many such doors and stairways. Most likely she was a little special in her old age :D

Two things came to my mind when I saw this:

1-- The Eagles 1977 song "Hotel California", the lyrics in part:

"Last thing I remember I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
'Relax,'said the night man, 'We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like but you can never leave' "

(Full lyrics: http://www.songlyrics.com/eagles/hotel- ... ia-lyrics/ )

2- The Winchester Mystery House, san Jose, CA. For those not familiar with it -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Mystery_House
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Actually, some schiester convinced her that if she stopped the ghosts of those killed with Winchester rifles would haunt her.
