I was just going to ask the same thing. Sometimes I get the "server took too long" message and sometimes, SQL error. There is definitely some sort of "disturbance in the force."

.

Yep - I've taken to "copying" my post before submitting it, in case it times out.

It makes a redo much lot easier - just have to do another reply & paste the content.

It's happening to me when I hit "preview" too -- and several times I have lost messages...

Now I COPY ALL before hitting either Preview or Submit.

I happen to know a little about I.T. - The SQL error happens when a squirrel nests in the Wi-Fi box.

My only issue with posting is thinking of something interesting to say.

It has timed out a quite a number of times while trying to open a thread and sometimes the entire site won't load. I didn't have any problems with the only post I have made lately.

Let me know how it goes over the next few days. Our hosting provider just did an upgrade on our software. Hopefully that took care of it. If not, there's a tweak or two to try. We're in the middle of a forced move (don't even know where we're going yet) so I don't have much time for dropping in on the forum. Sending an email direct to Image is the best bet to catch me.

Thanks, Bill. We may have found "the house". Not the perfect house, but one we can make livable. We're to meet the fellow tomorrow to talk bout contract and such. Interesting neighbor lady showed the place to us. She's lived next door for the last 30+ years. Should prove interesting - one way or another. :? 8)  If he follows through on his word we'll meet at 1 p.m. and see what it takes to get the contract ready for signing. Then the "fun" part comes - moving stuff and setting it all up. <sigh>
