It seems most threads I’ve read on the Uberti copy’s of the 1876 when in .50-95 have oversized (.515) bores, or out of round.
Did they correct that? What do they measure now? How’s quality nowadays?

Maybe writing to Uberti and others that sell Uberti firearms would be another way to find out. Getting it straight from them would be good to have in writing if you wind up with a rifle that isn't up to snuff (even though they may say it is). I'd ask for S/N ranges that would be affected with the not so desirable bore size. That way a guy will know what to ask for when ordering.
