Beautiful, seldom seen over here unfortunately......
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Sweet I love that vintage look color case receiver. Give us a range report when you shoot it please.

I really like the Stevens Favorite pattern single-shot .22's, and IMO the Varner is at the top of the food chain.
A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to obtain a NIB commemorative Stevens Model 71 Favorite for one of my younger Grandson's birthday.

Pete,
I have that same rifle. My dad bought it for me when I was five years old. It's had thousands of rounds through it and still as accurate as ever. I taught my step sons to shoot with it and someday maybe a grandchild.
Still have the box too!.

Color me green with envy, jb...
While I may get to see my two youngest grandsons to shoot their .22 single shots, IDK if I'll be able to take them out on a hunt before I go for my Dirt Nap.

Very nice ! If I’m not mistaken they only made 22 rimfires correct ? I tried to get one a while back but didn’t have much luck
