More knife making , photo

Post by Chuck 100 yd »

The neighbor boys finally finished their knives. If you remember , two of the local boys ,13 & 14 yr. olds , asked me
To teach them to make a knife.

We finished them this morning. They were made from an old commercial circular saw blade.

Now someone needs to teach them to hunt. If they harvest a game animal and use their knives to clean it, chances are that they will remain productive citizens.

That photo would spark media outrage in the UK, our own brand of SnowFlakes would faint at the very thought of it....
I congratulate you on teaching them well and I congratulate those kids on wanting the skills and succeeding in getting them. 8)

Thanks guys , and yes, they made it all. I showed them how and they did it all from cutting out the blade blank with a grinder with cutoff wheel to stitching up the sheiths. Their parents were all for it. Way better than playing games or watching TV.
