Any one going to it? I'll be there. Am also in Cameron, LA and heading north would mind stopping and meeting for coffe along the way if you are on the route. I also hit the San Antonio and Aransas Pass gunshow and enjoyed them immenesely. Hope you all been doing good. Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

I'll be at the Tulsa show this weekend. Should be pretty good since they've advertised it extensively. About 3,000 tables.

Theres a slim chance I might be at the Baltimore Gunshow in March . This and the Forks of Delaware Show in Allentown PA are the epitome of collectors shows in the eastern USA atleast .

The biggest and to me the best is the Wanenmacher April 6 & 7 in the same building. 4200 tables on 7 acres in one building. I'm at 9A, upper level.

6 point...I've been hearing horror stories on the Baltimore show that maybe you can confirm.....
Stories where they are getting asinine on any guns made after 1898 and confiscations by police from out of staters who bring post 1898 guns there. You hear anything about that??? I'd hate like hell to bring a high dollar single action Colt there only to have to fight the courts to get it back...and probably lose.---6

No, but I’ve not been up there in four or five years . But being as it’s in Maryland it wouldn’t surprise me . We’ve got a friend that comes in the shop almost everyday that exhibits up there and he hasn’t mentioned anything like that . Although he’s mainly into civil war and before . I’ll ask him next time I see him if I remember .Sixgun wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 2:47 pm6 point...I've been hearing horror stories on the Baltimore show that maybe you can confirm.....

Thanks 6 Point.....I have not been in New Jersey since 1978 (15 miles away) and decided to add Maryland to the list also. They have wanted posters for out of state guys that they can bleed financially...and that is true.---6

I talked to my civil war collector friend today and asked if he’d seen or heard of any of this , he adamantly said NO . So I asked if he thought he would have heard of it if it had transpired and he said he thinks he would have . The guys a retired attorney so he usually gets the info in places his hobby takes him . To be honest if they got out of state collectors that were not FFL dealers for anything made after 1898 I dare say it would take in 50%+ of the exhibitors .

Thanks 6 Point........it can leave you a bit uneasy if you have something your looking to sell as you know, that's the place to sell quality guns. I dislike looking over my shoulder to see if "the man" is contemplating making my stuff his.
I'm kicking it around...I may be there..thanks----6
