Baby Browning 25acp, Colt Pocket Positive 32NP, Ruger Vaquero (custom by Gary Reeder) 32H&R, Springfield sub compact 40S&W, Colt Commander, depends on the situation.

Although I own several easily consealed handguns, the current choice is my Glock 43 single stack 9mm.
I traded off a Ruger LC9 because of the lousy trigger a couple years ago. The G43 replaced it. I understand that Rugers new version of the compact 9 is greatly improved in the trigger pull department. I have yet to even see one.
That said, my favorite pocket blaster is the Ruger SP 101 . 357mag.

Of course, it's no longer funny when you realize that some idiots actually believe this!

For me, I carry a variety of things based on the weather and what I can wear (it does get hot down here). Everything from a Davis D-38 "deringer" in .38 Special when it is really hot, to a Para P12-45. Recently I've been carrying a FM "Detective" (a "Commander-length" Hi-Power clone).

I go to Florida most every year anymore, to take the wife to visit her sister, and man it's frigging hot down there, and humid too.
But when I go, I just can't help it, I have seen too many scary situations over the years, I just can't give up my 45, but actually, I find it really just as easy to carry in hot weather, covered up by a Hawaiian shirt.

My current carry is a Springfield XDs, although I sure do miss my trusty Colt Cobra. In colder weather when wearing a coat or jacket I still carry my Browning Hi-Power Practical although my new HK VP40 is knocking on the door. IT is by far the best striker fired pistol in my humble opinion. God Bless.

IMO, there's no such thing as "can't"................ I'd rather be judged by twelve, than carried by six.

I find if you can wear a BELT, you can easily carry about anything 'full-size' (i.e. a Para Ordnance P-12 or P-14, regular 1911, 44 Special Revolver, etc.), if you wear an un-tucked shirt, and don't mind a bit of weight. If I were to go out wearing just swimming-trunks and a T-shirt, I would have my secondary weapon be a North American Arms 'Mini-Revolver' in 22 WMR, and my primary one be the sight of an old geezer in shorts and a T-shirt.... :D

Those NAA Mini revolvers can be put in a pocket and nobody will ever know they are there. Maybe not a real stopper, but that .22 WMR would sure mess up your day.

Yep, I got one of those, actually I think I own 3 different ones. I like having them so I do have choices. When I carry them, I usually carry two of them, so I have what they call a New York reload.

Where did you get that adorable holster? I usually just stick mine in a pocket, but for the appropriate times that would be a great looking way to carry the mini revolvers.

My custom Holster for my mini was made by my very good friend, he is a fellow CAS/SASS shooter. He makes Holsters & leather for a Hobby. I ask one time what he would charge for this beautiful little holster. He stated about the same as a full size holster. Since he has so much custom work I doubt he would want to build another.
Right now he is in the process of building a Custom Saddle for his self.
BTW; he built the belt also for me.

Depends on weather and circumstances. For ultra-concealment a Beretta Pico .380. For pocket or ultra-comfortable belt carry a Beretta Nano 9mm. For lightweight power that's hard to argue against a Springfield XDs .45.

Mine is either a Springfield EMP 9mm or a S&W Model 19 bought right here from forum member "Walker" and carried on duty for a few years. He really hooked me up when funds were low.

I have three I carry depending how it strikes me on any particular day .

When I first started carrying it was a S&W 19-2 4" in a Galco silhouette holster , then not to long thereafter I got a Kimber 1911 Custom II 5" and I also have a Galco Silhouette holster for it . Sometimes I also carry a S&W 36 in a Desanti high ride very similar to the Galco's .

I frequently carry a variety of handguns, including a full sized 1911, cross draw under a loose Hawaiian shirt without issue. Could you be overly concerned about printing?

I realized this is an older thread and as I was re reading it I saw that I had ask about a holster for NAA minis. Some time after this was current I did find a fellow to make a holster for my mini. It's set up for right handed cross draw (yes, I'm a lefty but this is a backup so...). It's worked out right well. It rides right along the belt and is invisible. Heck if I'm wearing it uncovered folks still don't seem to see it. Maybe they think it's some sort of belt decoration and just ignore it.

If we go shopping or out to eat usually a little sig 238 .380 in my pocket. (not pictured). Next step up is a smith model 40 in a pocket, next step up if its cool and a jacket my old s&w model 36" 3" in a belt holster. In good weather riding the trails in our RZR I am apt to be carrying larger revolvers. Usually a beater smith M&P or a old converted smith HD to .44 special.

When working I am restricted to a Sig 229 in .357 Sig, a Glock .43 (back up), and 5.56 rifle (if needed) or Remington 870 Police Magnum.
Of on my own, it depends where I am or what I am doing. In Alaska at the farm, I carry a 3in 629 .44 Mag or a Glock 30SF with a Bar-Sto 10mm barrel. In Arizona around the house (when I am not going anywhere) a .45 LC Ruger Single action, 329 S&W 4 inch .44 Mag, a 3inch S&W model 60 in .357, or a S&W 351 PD .22 Mag with the 1st round in each a shot load if I am surprised by a Rattlesnake. If going to a populated area a Glock 33, Browning High power, Para Ordnance P-14, !911 .45 or .38 Super and in the vehicle a rifle (normally an AR or Levergun) or a 12 Gage. I am required to carry concealed regardless of local laws. Remember just become you are paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

I also carried a shot load on top many years on top in a smith model 60. (45 years ago) Then one night I was T-boned by two gentlemen coming out of a bar. This was many years ago, I owned a 1964 Cad coupe Deville and a GF was driving it. I was bone tired from working a double shift and riding passenger. We stopped but they ran. Since the car wasn't my main ride I just had liability ins on it. I knew I was SOL if I didn't get the plate and told her to try to catch up so I could read it. They went into a parking building in downtown L.A. It was like turning angie dickinson loose on police woman. She got them boxed up and they backed into us several times trying to run. My door wouldn't open as thats the side we hot hit. I yelled for her to get out as I had to get out her door. As I was getting out I spotted my model 60 on the floor as the impacts had bounced it forward from under the seat. I grabbed it up and ran to their car and ordered them out but they locked themselves in and refused to come out. I must had been pretty upset as I bounced the smith against the drivers window to encourage him out. Long story short, I held them for the police, had some explaining to do at the station to the watch commander and was lucky there were warrants out on the driver. Anyway we were kicked loose and I got my gun and ammo back. They had ME attempt to unload the gun as it was badly tied up because when I hit that window that speer shot capsule had jarred forward halfway in the barrel/cylinder and the gun couldn't be fired! I carried on my guard job back then. That didn't make me legal out of uniform but they didn't press it. Would hate to have it happen today though in Los Angeles! Anyway, something to think about carrying shot loads in a revolver. Back then I lived out on the mojave desert north of LA and did shoot a few snakes with it.

The farm is in Delta Junction and one near Stonewall Jackson Resort in WV, wife's house in AZ (she wouldn't live in Alaska and until I can't take the abuse to my body any longer I will.) Thinking of selling the farm in WV but haven't yet. Lots of driving but the scenery is unbelievable and the satellite radio works all the way to Tok.

It isn't a quick draw but it is pretty darn quick.

Currently a Ruger 1911 LWT CMD in .45 or a S&W 642. I've been in the selection process for an in between gun and I'm about to buy a S&W Shield that will probably become my primary CCW.

Now settling down to the Taurus PT-92 or Para Ordnance P-14. Both have been utterly reliable. I do like the hammer-down carry with the Taurus (and would never be able get used to the Beretta-92 it copies due to the strange 'push forward' safety), but there is still something reassuring about 14 rounds of 45 ACP.

I like both. I had a Para-LDA years ago that sort of was 'both', but just couldn't warm up to the complexity and number of parts; both the PT-92 and P-12 are nice, simple designs more akin to Uzi's - 'you can use tractor parts for most repairs' :D .

I also have really grown to like the tiny little SIG P-938, since it functions just like a 1911. Easiest-to-hit-with little 9mm I've ever shot; WAY more ergonomic for my hands (large, skinny) than Glocks or Rugers (so is the double-stack 1911 vs the single-stack - that extra 3/16" girth seems to be just right vs the 'deck-of-cards feel of the regular 1911).

I might have a new one en route. Purchased a 3rd Generation S&W 6904 9mm. Very similar to my first (and still occasional) carry firearm, S&W 3906.

We'll see if it is as reliable and as accurate as the 3906. If it is, it will get some use as a carry piece.

Wm

P.S.
S&W 60 3" barrel
S&W 36 3" barrel
Charter Arms 44" spl 3" barrel
S&W Shield 9mm
S&W 3906 9mm
Para Ordance Commander 45 ACP

But the 36 & Shield are carried probably 2/3 rds of the time. The rest get carried when the mood strikes me.

Here are a couple others I own but truth is I carry my cheaper beaters. A 2 1/2" Python and a 3" s&w 66-3 Lew Horton special one of 300.

Thinking of selling the farm in WV but haven't yet. Lots of driving but the scenery is unbelievable and the satellite radio works all the way to Tok.
Every time I'm at Stonewall Jackson I kick myself for forgetting my fishing pole. I get up there probably once a year for meetings.

When I carry it's normally a Ruger LCP in my pocket. I love the idea of carrying one of my Glocks, but I just don't want to make the adjustment to my wardrobe and lifestyle.

My ideal choice can differ a bit from the practical choice. Small and light-weight can be nice for concealment, but my aging right thumb, hand, and wrist cannot tolerate much muzzle flip, and how much is “much” has been changing as I age. Plus, there is much to be said for a weapon that will nicely “fill my hand,” and point “naturally” for me, so that the weapon is relatively well-indexed, even if I cannot clearly see the sights. In spite of their differing grip angles, this means a full-sized 1911, with a flat mainspring housing, or a Gen3/4/5 Glock 17. The big iron 1911 has the steel to damp the recoil, even with .45 ACP. The G17 has enough mass and grip size to tame 9mm. Both feature a relatively low bore axis, which lessens muzzle flip. Both have long grip frames, which adds stability with the better amount of surface area bearing against the heel of my long hand.

For reference, my duty SIG P229R, firing the then-mandated .40*, was painful to shoot, in quantity, by the time I reached age 50, in 2011. The high bore axis was a factor, as was the fast-accelerating cartridge. Not just discomfort, but actual swelling. By mid-2012, I had bought a 9mm G17, in anticipation of my chief OK’-ing 9mm as an alternative duty cartridge, and started carrying the G17, or an all-steel 1911, during personal time, a departure from my earlier practice of carrying the same gun on and off the clock. The OK to use 9mm on duty finally happened in late 2015. This one factor, alone, extended my peace officering career by 2+ years. (By March 2016, I was OK’ed to carry a 1911, too, while on duty.)

So, this morning, as I walked the puppy, I was carring a Gen4 G17, my usual daily carry weapon. I actually feel “safe” in my neighborhood with smaller/lower-capacity weapons, such as short-barreled revolvers, but I was already dressed for the day.

Well, speaking of revolvers, I did not feel unsafe when I recently went on a multi-state road trip, and, anticipating the possibility of a side-trip that might pass through parts of NY and/or NJ, decided to carry another favorite, a 3” GP100. I still like the GP100 as a fields/woods gun.

I do, of course, love 1911 pistols, but, all else being equal, the checkered areas do chew my clothing, and the length means that drawing from a concealment-oriented holster can tax the mobility limits of my gimpy shoulder, so a 1911 is more likely to be my choice when a wearing a holster that rides a bit lower than the typical concealment rig.

I recently bought a Glock G19x, which has a G17-sized grip frame, and a shorter G19-length slide and barrel, to clear the holster with less lift, to make things a bit easier on my aging shoulder, if using an inside-the-trousers holster. (JM Custom Kydex IWB.) i have yet to function-test this one, so will not yet call it a “choice.”

*I do not “blame” the .40 S&W. Assuming that shooting handguns contributed to the aches and pains of aging, the big-bore Magnums I fired in the Eighties would have done much more of the cumulative damage, especially as the N-Frame is a bit large large for my hands, so I shot with a compromised grip.
