Kick’s Buck Kicker

Post by 6pt-sika »

Rode down to Greentop Sporting Good’s in Glen Allen Va today . I had checked their website last night and saw they had in stock Kick’s Buck Kicker chokes to fit Benelli/Beretta guns that use mobilchokes . They had them in full and xtra full but not light full . So when we stopped I picked up one of each .

Almost forgot this was all done in a circa 1988 Benelli Montefeltro with a 22” pipe .

I had one of the Benelli Super Black Eagle 1’s fully camoed with a 28” pipe . Thing shot great patterns with factory 3 1/2” Buckshot loads , but it was like carrying an eight foot 2x4 thru the thick stuff I n Chincoteague NWR . This ones much easier for carry and far less traumatic on the shoulder .

Thanks for testing, and sharing your results.

I bought a pre-owned 21” vent-rib barrel for my Benelli M2, and will be seeing how it compares with the 18.5” “tactical” barrel with iron sights, with some new loads, so it is choke-shopping time. I had actually bought my M2 pre-owned, after it had long sat unloved, at a local dealer, with its battered 28” barrel. Other than the barrel, the gun was quite nice, so I spoke to a manager, who dropped the price, and the deal was done. With the “tactical” barrel, I used the M2 as my duty shotgun. Now that I am retired, and not working out of a cramped “Police Interceptor,” a 21” VR barrel looks very interesting,
