32 20 article on this site

Post by redquill »

on this site there's an article about three levels of loads for different categories of 32-20 guns. (link here: http://www.leverguns.com/articles/paco/3220wcf.htm)

regarding the level two and three loads where H110 powder is applied to a 90 grain jacketed bullet, is it possible the pressure and velocity figures for the amount of powder got reversed?

16 grains for 2300fps/35200 cup vs. 17 grains for 1870fps/23500 cup just seems counterintuitive enough that it made me start questioning it. Thanks

Someone with QuickLoad may be able to check that way. Or AmmoGuide.

It does seem strange.
