If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Re: Happy Birthday AmBraCol.
Thanks, Guys!!!
I've had a great day. It started off with sour cream pecan pie and bacon for breakfast. Then I headed out to the gun club to drop off Browning the new watch pup and a cashew tree we started. Also stood in for another member in order to give a new member and a prospective member the grand tour and safety lecture. This was followed by a session of airgun shooting followed by an FN 1922 in 7.65mm that one of the guys brought and burning up my most recent carry loads to replace with fresh in the PPPPPP. The new member brought his lady with him and she did real good. I've STILL not figured out how she was shooting an old Slavia 620 air rifle. She was ringing steel at 40 meters and I couldn't hit anything out there. Shot it at around 10 meters and it was hitting low and to the right, so at 40 it would have been a mile off. But she rang steel with it about every shot. Weird. Made up for it with the FN 1922, dropped all three poppers at the 40 meter range. Slow motion, that little pill almost didn't have enough UMPH to move them, but down they went. Then it was back home to lunch with my darling. So far the only dark spot is the notification that the brother of one of our members passed away in his sleep. We'll be doing a visit later on this evening, one I really don't like doing.
Again, thanks for the well wishes!
