"A Spit & Lanc"
I'll bet a few won't guess what that subject meant...
A Spitfire and a Lancaster flying somewhere over England.

Re: Time for "A Spit & Lanc"
Awesome! I've been watching "Dunkirk" over and over on HBO. Can't get enough Spitfire time.
My dad and I were at the Imperial War Museum several years ago, the planes on display were wonderful. Best part was the P51 hanging from the very top looking like the most graceful piece of artwork ever imagined. We were there for eight hours and still didn't see everything. One of the coolest thing that I remember was T.E. Lawerance's Arab garb and medals on display.

Was at Duxford, Hendon and the Science Museum in London! Fanstastic for any history buff of aviation.

There were some beautiful airplanes back then.
