Fell a nice Norway pine this morning, it`s gonna make some nice wide boards on the mill.

The ticks are an epidemic here. Guy found 2 dead moose the other day just covered. Maine has the highest lyme disease rate in the country. Funny thing is up until a few years ago, I'd never even seen a tick.
Sorry you're still hurting my friend. Prayers sent.

Tell ya one thing if a person didn`t have to hear all the stuff that`s going on with the witch hunt of Trump it would help.
Which of coarse is part of the lefts plan to divide the country, sure hope some good comes out of all this soon as its effecting us in a bad way.
Heck most of us can remember when we didn`t think about this stuff at all, lock our doors and feel like we`re loosing our country.

Ever since I felled my first tree 20+ years ago, a chainsaw is my favorite outdoor tool. Indoors, I'd choose a lathe. Felling the tree is the most fun, especially when you sight along your outstretched arm and try to estimate exactly where the top will fall -- I'd place a small marker at that spot, and I nailed it one time.

Missed it BIG one time too :o, but nobody got hurt and no damage was done.

Yup, felling the tree is the fun part -- THEN all the work begins to clear it.

If I didn`t have this old mill I`d probably get one though, a band mill saves a lot of lumber and cuts smooth.
