Winchester/Miroku 1886 Takedown 26 inch. barrel 45-70 it's like new
Got it from the guy who built Repro Gatling guns for Colt

He deleted the tang safety and machined a filler for the slot.

Shiny!

Do 1886's usually have that curved pistol grip?

It looks like it wants to be a Marlin.

Good snag!

Looks like you are set for an African hunt now, that looks like 15 or 20 dollars worth of ammo.

Oh you got a great deal. You know, a machined filler for that safety slot just might sell. Especially if it said Winchester on it.

How much whiskey did you have to pour down him to get that price to come out? That is a nice looking rifle, and a price to make us think he must have been your Uncle or something.

Man, that's awesome. Both the deal you got on the rifle and the Gatlin Gun.

LOL!
he's not my Uncle just met him at a gun show a week ago,I don't think he's hurting for cash the Gatling guns he made for Colt sold for $56,000 each.Colt ordered 50 for there first run of them in 2012 and he has made them every year since.

I know he's one top notch machinist I was in his shop Saturday to pick up the 1886 and there where at least 4 HAAS Automation Machine's

That's an awesome deal on an M86 rifle!

I paid double that for a used(but nice) in box Browning 1886 saddle-ring carbine. That was the going price at the time for the Brownings and the Winchester Model 1886 short rifles were selling for about the same new. I chose the used Browning to avoid the rebounding hammer and tang safety of the new Winchesters.
