New Levergunner in the oven

Post by OldWin »

Have known for a little while, but it wasn't out.
My son and his wife are expecting. It will be our first grandchild and my wife is like a puppy on crack. :D
They are both coming home for Christmas too! First time our son has been home at Christmas since 2009. He and his wife are both USCG.
We are very proud of them. This kid will be raised right.

I'll be the "crazy grandfather with all the guns"! :D

Congratulations!
You better start collecting things, like small leverguns, fishing poles, youth bows, etc. and so-forth :D

I'm expecting grandkid #4 (will be grandson #3) any minute now. Wife drove down last night so she could stay with the kids if my daughter and SIL had to run to the hospital.
I have been accumulating tools of training for years and am about to bust, waiting for those young-uns to get old enough. Next summer I have GOT to build a deer stand I can safely get one or 2 in with me.

Thank you guys!
And yes, I got a bunch of cool stuff to hand off and use for "training".
I have photographic evidence of the father shooting when he was 3.
I had a little trio of Stevens Favorites and a Tip Up for him by the time he was walking.

Great news Jay! On the babies arrival, you will feel a "little older" but that's cool......ya get over it pretty quick.

There is something I have never told you before....I am your hidden grandson and when you get a chance, please send down a few of those half mag. carbines, preferably in 38-40 and one in 25-35........please, only high condition but I'll take a 95% er if that's all you have.

See ya in the spring/summer buddy!----6

A big thank you to everyone!

Got up at 1AM to take the middle son and his GF all the way to Portland airport in a snowstorm.....fun!

Lenn,
Thank you old buddy! Will keep you posted on the progress :D

Jack,
I knew it! You look like me and we think alike.....too big a coincidence.
I will call you when I need my diapers changed and the drool wiped from my chin. You're my favorite grandson! :D
