The Answer To Staying Logged In Here

Post by Pete44ru »

.

I found the cure. (thanks for the clue, Paul)

Check the leverguns web addy you're using, whether it's in your favorites, browser bar, etc - or not.

Be sure the addy has a letter "s" after the leading "http", and the end is ".org".

If both are not there change the addy to: https://www.levergunscommunity.org

Login as normally.

I did so - no changing browsers, erasing cookies, or any other "stuff" - I stay logged in.

E-Z-Peazy.

I did all that & it works well EXCEPT for notices I get from threads I subscribed to before the change.

Thanks. I'll try that. I have been logged in forever here up until recently and now every time I have to log back in. Quite aggravating.

Seems to have worked on this machine... for now... Whether it propagates to the other "favorites" links across my other devices, or reverts, remains to be seen...

Just delete your favorites link. Then come to the site and login. Once logged in again, add the site back too your favorites list, and you'll stay logged in.

Over the last week or so, I've tried all the suggestions posted here with no success. Today I checked for the letter "s" and the .org, they were there, then I saw the link you posted. Looked like mine, but I clicked on it anyway. Site came up, but I was not logged in there and it did not remember my log in info. Almost as if it was on a different browser.
I manually interned my log in info and logged in. That worked. Then bookmarked this new version. After that I went and deleted the one I had been using from my bookmarks.
Since then it's kept me logged in. I have no idea what was different, but I'm glad that little annoyance is taken care of.
Thanks,
Joe
