Mailing recover sight to Australia legality

Post by otteray »

Some guy Down Under wants to buy a Lyman sight for an old Savage 99, that I posted for sale.
With all their restrictions, is this legal? The guy has a post count of 1 on another site, (calguns) so I am hesitant for that reason, too.

There are no import restrictions on sights, only on gun parts used to make a firearm, such as actions and barrels.

.

Besides, it's incumbent upon the buyer to be observant of the laws in their jurisdiction, not the seller's.

Get your money + postage & don't worry about it.
