Once again - Amazing!
Laughed out loud when the boat turned towards the camera showing a box of gin in the bow - very clever!

I always love the videos of your steamboats Lenn, almost as good as actually being there....... 8)
The African Queen looks more powerful with the new engine.

I really LIKE that PT boat......complete with a twin Ma Deuce up front and a brace of em out back. :D

Funny thing, to combat my boredom over the winter, I spent a lot of time watching reruns of McHales Navy on You Tube. One episode before bedtime makes for a great sleep.

Pitchy....when you get time, put your great skills to work and paint a "73" on the boat and maybe a torpedo tube on deck.----6 :D

Pitchy,
That was really interesting but ...as much as I like you....I think that you building a "whim" is a bit too much for you to handle. :D

Cool machines they were....I'm guessing it was after these whims that logging companies started building R.R. tracks in the forest to transport logs.

Yep...they sure were real men back in the day....--6

I'd never seen one of those Pitchy. Up here, they used the Lombard Log Hauler. It pulled a "train" of log sleds.

Wow, I didn't know they used them out there.
They used to take em apart, haul them into where they were going to cut, and reassemble them in some instances up here.
Crazy amount of work.

It is running pretty good now but could use a bigger boiler.
