My wife got a Facebook post from a friend in Higgins, Tx. They are having terrible wildfires there. They've had over 250 sections burned. As the fires burned towards the town of Higgins the winds shifted at the last minute and the town was spared. Her neighbor has been putting down cows all day that have had their hair burned off along with their bags, ears, and eyes. At one point he ran out of bullets and had to go to town to get more.
These folks will be a long time rebuilding.
