Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.

I've been thinking about one of the Ruger Precision rifles in 6.5 Creedmore!

I've been thinking about saving my pennies for the new "The Fix" rifle from Q LLC but this Ruger is giving me second thoughts. It's not as short and handy as the rifles I usually like for around the ranch but it'd be vewy qwiet for those waskly wabbits!

I have one in 6.5 CM but being busy and the range is closed due to snow haven't had a chance to try it out. A friend of mine has two of them one in 308 and the other, a custom two barrel set in 22-250 and 6mm CM. They are tack drivers for sure plus the mods you can do is endless. One thing for sure is I wouldn't want to lug mine around too far. With a bipod and scope it's close to 12lbs. easily if not more. I've been hearing rumors Ruger is making prototypes for magnum cartridges such as 338 Lapua and others.

While I like the modularity of the AR platform, I grew a dislike for them in '72 that has been hard to overcome.

The cool looking factor is pretty high, I must admit. I WOULD like to build a chassis for my bolt guns. I believe the AR has brought that to the forefront.

$2900.00 for a suppressor? You can sure buy a lot of high quality ear protection for a fraction of that, and buy ammo with the rest.
