Current state of forum funds

Post by AmBraCol »

A couple weeks ago we had our bi-annual forum fund raiser. Here's current stats.

Received via PayPal
$589.24

Received via checks
$325.00

Total received
$914.24

Here is how it's been applied so far:

Renew domains to the full 10 years. (2 years for the .coms and 3 years for the .orgs to bring them up to the full 10 year registration limit)

leverguns.com
leverguns.org
levergunscommunity.com
levergunscommunity.org

Cost of renewals:
$181.70

Basic hosting of levergunscommunity.com and .org

$207.80 (part of the bi-annual cost was paid for by balance on hand)

Basic 2 year hosting of leverguns.com and .org (it's on a different system from the community forum)
$60.00

Virtual private database server bandwidth fund
$199.74

Total disbursed so far:
$649.24

Cash on hand
$265.00

After putting the $199.74 into the database server fund I was unable to find the positive balance in the system, hence the as yet untransferred $265 on the books. I sure don't want to be throwing the forum's money into a black hole. Two years ago I placed the appropriate funds into the system and they showed up as a positive balance from which each month's database server charge was deducted. Once I figure out what's going on I'll put the rest of the money on account as well. Two year's hence we'll have an even shorter duration fund drive thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the folks who contributed this time around.

Thank you to all who help keep the virtual doors open 'round here!

The little it costs is well, well worth it.

You're welcome and thank you for all your work to keep it going.
