A New (to me) Sixteen-Shooter
I've always admired the 9mm Browning P-35 Hi-Power, so when I stumbled across this KBI/FEG Hungarian clone @ an LGS ( a Model PJK 9HP that exhibited a pretty good fit/finish) for about 25% the cost of the Browning, I jumped on it.
I ordered/received a 15-shot Megar magazine for it (Browning parts are mostly interchangeable).
I ran 200 rounds of hardball & 25 rounds of JHP's through it the day I bought it, w/o a bobble.
I yam a happy camper.............

I'm not sure how it works but there are some Hi-Powers coming back into the country that had been used by the IDF. Most of them fall into the category of lightly used.

I bought the same FEG gun years ago, very good fit and finish the only thing I didn't like about it, like most Hi-powers is the hammer bite, you get used to it but would place a large band aid over the web of my thumb if I was doing much shooting. Then I got dumb and traded it for something new.

First pistol I ever handled was a HiPower. Always liked them. Not small, but typical JMB shooters.

Thanks, all !
I took it out to my gunclub again today, and still can't get over how comfortable it is to shoot !
BTW, I heard that the Israeli turn-in's being imported are not FN/Browning's, but Czech FEG's like mine, with a matte finish.

Re: A New (to me) Sixteen-Shooter
I've had one for a number of years. Runs like a champ, and many of the parts are interchangeable with the true Browning.
I'm currently carrying a FM (Argentinian) clone that is a "Commander" length model. Again, rarely if ever a problem.
My friend did buy one of the PJK's and has had a bunch of problems with it. I think it is the extractor. I purchased an extractor, but have not had time to replace it yet. Will advise.
