When that spinning buzz saw hits a critter, it will gut and skin it for you.

I guess I'm too old school, but other than a marketing ploy, I don't see any thing about that bullet that would make me want to spend the money for it.
In the end what will it do that a regular slug wont?

And what do you do with the brass afterwards? Is there a handgun that will chamber a shell that large? How about a riffle?

That brass would be SOooo easy to reload. All you need is a piece of wooden dowel and the right wads. I already ave the de-priming and priming tools that I made years ago. Not much to them. Do they use 209 or LP primers? Not that it matters much as both are workable with the same tools.
I wonder if you could just shoot some of those down a fence row to clear the brush?

the shorty version would work a treat in my flare pistol, although I tend to think that burning magnesium doesn't lack in utility.

The article mentions box magazines a few times, I wonder if they would be OK in a tube magazine like many shotguns used as home defense?

I remember a .54 round lead ball I recovered right under the skin of a large Indiana whitetail doe. All mashed out nearly flat. Both shoulders, and a lung milkshake. That deer died quicker than if the Empire State Building dropped on it's head.

A solution in search of a problem, and $11 per round. Do people actually buy this stuff?

Yeah, that is a 'condor zone' slug!!
It sure looks impressive although at 11 bucks a pop I'm sure they won't sell many of em!

Brass cases can easily be reloaded. I use them for cowboy action shooting. Rocky Mountain Cartridge makes an inexpensive loading set for this. I would really like to see a modern Slug available for the 3.5 inch 10 gauge.

Why do people think everything has to be the result of a problem? Were that the case we could all probably throw away 90% of all our possession.

I agree. And many things are "just because", no need to justify. (How many members here have two or more guns of the same caliber and design?)
