Top quality! The Montana 99 action is a clone of the pre 64 model 70. I owned one in CZ #3 persuasion when the race was on to get 300WSMs on the market. With a bit of floor plate/trigger guard work the action would go right in to a Winchester Pre 64 model 70 stock. Killed a few elk with it and sold it.
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.

I purchased a used one in 300wsm
I have not shot it much but it does show very good accuracy potential
Only drawback I see is it is a bit heavy
I am one gun away from happy

Thank you for sharing. I do like Model 70s and was glad to hear your experiences were positive.

Would love to hear more about these rifles. I've been eyeballing them online and have tracked down a place in Rapid City that sells them so I can look at them in October when we head down there to visit my wife's sister.
