Prayers for the doctors and staff, caretakers who are attending to Alnitak; for his family and friends (including your family, of course), and for your brother. Godspeed to his healing!

Great news !

Today, unlike in the past, stents seem to last forever, with a properly-balanced diet.

(My balanced diet is 1 beer in each hand. ;) )

Modern medicine rocks - my Dad passed away 60 years ago, well before stent technology was even considered.

Prayers for continued healing sent. Whip his butt if he doesn't follow the Doctor's advice. After my younger brother had a cancer removed from his gum on the lower left of his jaw (where he kept his dip of "worm dirt"), I took his Copenhagen away from him the first time I saw him dipping again. This was when he was 21. Someone I had gone through school with had got him into dipping back when my younger brother was about 13.
