...and then there were four (including this one! )
Well, the first of two "non-traditional" leveractions. Oh, we could debate the point forever on this - and have through several threads on the new and old forums. But to me, this is a lever-action, albeit not what one first thinks of when the term is used.
The rifle is an Armi Sport reproduction of the “Spencer 1865", imported by Taylor's. It is in .44 Russian, and you've seen me post a range report on this one before. This is also the one I made the "Blakeslee Box" for (and, had I thought of it, would have added it to the picture! )
The revolver is a Centennial “1860 Army Coltâ€

And not to belabor the point, I class the Spencer as a Levergun. The separate cocking of the hammer notwithstanding.
Ditto;
nice selection, now you are back on track.

very nice. I love the cap and ball pistols. The spencers are very kewl. Saw some beautiful ones at Gettysburg yesterday. The 1860's were in high number too. Wow, so many guns and so little time. I really appreciate your posts and your fine collection.

I always think it is amazing these style pistols didn't blow apart when you look at the fragile seeming connection holding the barrel on...! They are a blast to shoot, though.
