The music was produced/directed by Hugo Montenegro.

Very good tune.....as was the movie with Clint Eastwood.

rbertalotto, thanks, ... I think! Still whistling and humming that tune as I've been going over my today's "to-do" list. Can't get the song out of my head! Might as well give up, ...don't feel like doing any chores anyhow. One of the benefits to be old and single, ...no nagging to deal with.

Most excellent.

This is one of those unprecedented, over the top movie music themes, one of the very best ones ever. It ushers you immediately into the magic of that mysterious, early Clint Eastwood drama.

Great to watch and listen to - thanks for the link!

Thanks for the post, even 50 years later the music has a timeless quality. I saw all three of the movies when they came out - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, A Fistfull of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More. I never get tired of watching them even after all these years.

Thanks for posting! Sorry to say I had the soundtrack on LP and let it get away in a fit of straightening the basement.

Really going to date myself now, fondest memory of the spaghetti westerns was watching an all night Clint Eastwood festival at the drive-in in Albany, Ga with a group ON OUR MOTORCYCLES, then riding to Tallahassee the next morning when it ended for breakfast. Don't have that kind of energy these days.
