When I took LEO training back in the '80s, one thing that was drilled into us was that "your primary weapon, and defense, is not your sidearm - it is your patrol car"

If you ever happen to be lucky enough to be behind a Trooper who pulls off a perfect PIT maneuver you will understand.

This cop just did it the hard way - from the front.
