My OT Kentucky combo
This is my hand built Kentucky combo. A good friend of mine when I lived in Tennessee made these for me in 1968. The rifle has a 36 inch Douglas 15/16 inch barrel. The rifle and pistol are both .45 caliber and made from parts not kit guns. With 90 grains of fffg and a patched round ball the rifle is a deer killer.

Very nice Jerry B! I like the lines on the longrifle....reminds me of some of the Southern guns. I am anxiously awaiting mine to be finished: an Early Lancaster, left handed 54 Flint, from a Jack Garner parts set.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
OOOooooohhhhh!
Kind regards,
Tycer

Griff the bag is rough pig skin, didn't know how it would work out but after
38 years it has done the job, made this one in 1970. The horn is a little big for a hunting horn but at the matches it was fine.

If we limited ALL posts to just "leverguns" we'd be missing alot of interesting stuff.
The site's 'flavor' is still leverguns mostly, certainly some of us own 'varmint' rifles and we may post about them incidentally, but the overall flavor is still leverguns.
I for one don't want to have to join seventeen different 'forums' - one for leverguns, one for falling-block guns, one for breakopens, one for bolt actions (with maybe a separate one for heavy barrel bolt actions), one for semiauto handguns, one for military history, etc. etc.
Lever or not (maybe that funny thing on the side is kind of a 'lever'?) these guns are COOL.
