It's not a levergun, unless you count the side lever. Turners in CA is listing them for $999.

Kind of looks like a Tubbs rifle.

I didn't realize long rang shooting was that popular. Maybe it will be the build it and they will come thinking.

Yeah. I saw that. Was thinking it would be a cool hunting rifle in .308. I suppose a 3 point sling across the front would be better to carry around but still would be pushing13-14lbs with a scope and sling. I looked at a Remington R25 .308 once but they're pricey and also heavy. I guess I'll stick to my 5-6lb Tikka. If I want heavy I'll take the 45-70.

It looks very similar to the Barrett 98B. I have no doubt Ruger will sell a ton of them at that price point. I just hope they come out with a 300 win or other larger magnum calibers. Their promise of "five-shot sub-MOA groups out to 1,600 yards" with a 243, 308 or 6.5 Creed may be difficult to accomplish though.
