Another Gentleman at Leverguns.com

Post by Pop Watts »

Well I have often seen many of you post comments here about what a great bunch of people there are associated with this site.

Now I have a comment to add.

A couple of weeks ago I placed a wanted to buy ad in the classifieds here on Leverguns. I was in need of a metal butt plate for a 1950's vintage Winchester 1894.
Well Lassiter sent me a PM saying he had one that I could have - even though I am all the way down at the bottom of the ball in Australia. He didn't want any money for it and when I wanted to at least pay his postage cost he said no, that he would be happy with a unique little Australian trinket for his wife.

Well the butt plate is here and the little Aussie trinket is on it's way to Lassiter.

The hardest thing was finding something "uniquely Australian" because little is now manufactured in Australian.

So that's my experience.
Lassiter gets my vote for Gentleman of the year.
Thanks for your help Mr Lassiter.

Lassiter is a fine Arkansas Lawman, just 2 counties west of me.

Hey Pop, you could have sent him one of those uniquely Australian kangar(00) coin bags
Many years ago I sent one to the FIL in UK, he had a ball showing it to all his mates at work.

As to the people on this site, I could not agree with you more, they really are a top bunch of blokes.

Do you mean they sell stuff in Australia made in china? Must be the crapola that even the Chinese can't pawn off on us here.

Love Melbourne. Lightning Ridge Opals has some 'unique Aussie trinkets'.

Thats great --- aside from the occasional bickering, i love the camaraderie and fellowship of this crew who came together under common ground (leverguns)

I dont contribute much - but still the only forum i check everyday (mostly)

I do hope to visit Australia some day before i get too old and beat up too ---

And exactly what are you trying to say here? If you are being sarcastic, please indicate so by a smiley or other affect.

But, your insane Urban-Centric Politics aside (which is always good for a laugh), this post appears to dive so deep into the Pit of Troll that I don't see any way to keep you from being drowned and ignored.

Wombats are uniquely Australian, and they are not incontinent. Most of the Koalas have STDs and are incontinent. Weird!
