Scientific American has a mag out about evolution of humans.
So, anyway, I’m reading about the evolution of language. They’ve got charts and brain scans and stuff and a theory about oral language coming from sign language and the right side of the brain and such.
They’re full of it.
Human language started the day some jerk of a caveman parked his dinosaur in someone else's space.

I dont believe that language evolved. Language was there for the creatures that used it, as fully formed as bipedalism.
