Well I finally got to take her home today. .308 lightweight and soo beautiful. This is my first BLR and I could not be happier.

Congratulation on the BLR, I have the pistol grip version in 358 win and really like. I think the 308 gives you much more versatility in loads and is a great round.

Thanks, I think that I am going to take it out for deer this year. I am not sure if I like the rear sight yet, I may change it out to a full buckhorn. The first range session will tell the tole.

That's great!You are going to love it.When you can buy a few extra magazines/clips.You will not believe what a clip for an older blr goes for!My blr is one that I'll never sale!

That's a great tip. Buy at least two extra magazines for your rifle. Keep one extra magazine with you and the rifle and keep one spare magazine in a place at home where you'll always have it. Of course, get Browning magazines and not some off-brand magazine.
