Yes, indeed. Happy Patriots day to all.

Less than 1/3 of the people here were actually behind and in support of the Revolution. I think we have more than 66% Tories now, but I hope I am wrong.

I have nothing against the people of Great Britian, and it was King George III who we were trying to get away from. Gamekeeper, thank you for understanding. By the way, I lift a toast each 5th of November.

My ancestors came over in 1699 with Lord Baltimore to settle in Maryland. They eventually moved on through PA and then on into Ohio.

We have pages of realitives that fought for the Union but no records of our participation in the revolution that I can can confirm.

I'd bet they were cavalrymen just like they were in the Civil War!

I am a Son of The American Revolution and an active member of the local SAR chapter and an officer of said club. This is a special day to me. My ancestors have fought in every war this country has been in. I joined them in the 90s. I am grateful for our close ties to Britain, Canada, Austraila, and each country that stands for freedom and has stood side by side with ever since that day. Blessings to all on this Patriots Day

My family was already here and had been for about 10,000 years.
