A woman goes to the Doctor, worried about her husband's temper.
The Doctor asks: 'What's the problem?'
The woman says: 'Doctor, I don't know what to do. Every day my husband
seems to lose his temper for no reason. It scares me.'
The Doctor says: 'I have a cure for that. When it seems that your husband
is getting angry, just take a glass of water and start swishing it in your
mouth. Just swish and swish, and swish some more, but don't swallow it
until he either leaves the room or calms down.'
Two weeks later the woman comes back to the doctor looking fresh and reborn.
The woman says: 'Doctor that was a brilliant idea! Every time my husband
started losing it, I swished with water. I swished and swished, and he
calmed right down! How does a glass of water do that?'
The Doctor says: 'Well, the water itself does nothing...'
'It's keeping your mouthshut that does the trick!!!'
Brilliant... Now for phase 2... swish BEFORE you drive him stir...

I let my wife read this.... She's upset and now hates all of you. Sorry about that. Good news though, she's hated me for the last twenty-six years and I've survived, so there is hope for you guys.

It's not every day that I take great satisfaction in a clean joke.......you know, we union guys have the nastiest ones.............
I always have believed you can learn something from anything, so here goes........
When the wife starts badmouthing you for all of the millions of things we guys do wrong, do the same thing....take a drink of water and start swishing........on an on......until she shuts up..........then spit it out on the floor..........................she will be bewildered at your actions........then you just calmly say.........nothing.......... and walk away.
Never explain why you are doing this.........just swish and spit.
It's kinda like training a dog...........for every action, there's the same reaction. It might get us boys a bit of peace.-------6

Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws "first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.
