Looks like something happened to his dead - clamped in a vice for too long and then someone lopped off the top with a hedge trimmer or something. Poor guy.

I might be wrong (gasp :shock: ) but I think the Army had more than one style of frame to choose from at that time.....They sure look dumb as heck :oops:

My dad spent a lot of time in Panama and Ecuador in the 1990s and early 2000s with the NG.

The Air Force forced everybody to wear them during basic training. When sent to your duty assignment or training for your job, they let you pick or wear if you had them, your own style.
I just got a good laugh out of BC glasses, not at you :D .
If the sh*f, then I would hope to stand by your side. 8)

They were also called RPG's by the grunts: rape prevention glasses. Fine for down range but no bueno when approaching the ladies. I liked the style pictured much better than the Buddy Holly style before them. Yeah.....a guy with a haircut like that had to make sure that the Chinook did not try to land on him! :wink:

The hair is tight and looking good. I think it's entirely possible that the mustache is bent on world domination, and is just wearing Blaine as a clever disguise... :twisted:

:lol: :lol: The barber I used kept it that way...he had me convinced that was the fashion in Panama...he seemed to be correct. In that pic, it needed a trim.
