Re: 1943 Winchester Factory Creed.
Once upon a time, corporations valued highly trained employees who dedicated their lives to betterment of said corporation. In return, CEO's paid living wages, medical benefits and pensions. It all worked well and America built a strong middleclass and productivity and profitability repaid the CEO and shareholder. Today's CEO is bottom line conscience, labor to bought and sold as cheaply as possible. Laws, tax and trade policies bought and paid for by crooked politicians from lobbies brought us outsourcing, offshoring and slave labor via illegal immigration. It's just a little MORE complicated than blaming the lazy young punks in the work force today.

"Give every working hour a full 60 minutes"
More calculated to assure maximum profits to corporation rather than success in war efforts.
Whole poster smacks of greed & profiteering rather than furtherance war time national goals.

In today's world I'd probably agree with you.2571 wrote:"Give every working hour a full 60 minutes"

In 1943 I believe that poster mindset wasn't greed driven at all.
The greatest generation had a united mindset from the top to the bottom to win that war.

casastahle,
Thank you for the look back in history! neat!
2571,
I don't completely disagree but not all companies are like that. There are some that really value their employees. Granted they are few and far between......
