Merry Christmas from Down Under

Merry Christmas to you & all the best to you for 2015, I thought I would get in early as I have four young kids & will be too busy on Christmas morning. Thanks again to Charles for putting on the big game meat dinner for myself & my mates earlier this year that gave me the chance to meet so many of you Texan forumites. Thanks also to Joe for all your help with our hunts. In the bottom picture under the G in the old west guns banner you will see the brick that I got from the Winchester factory when I had the chance to meet Michael Ferraiolo, who bought the salvage rights to the Winchester Factory, & Pauline Muerrle, Winchester Engraver & author of Winchester, The Way It Really Was, which is a great read. That Brick takes pride of place in my collection, a lot of my mates don't understand, but the Winchester guys get it.

Peter, you have an enviable passion for leverguns, and it appears as if you have the resources to "make things happen" from time to time --- Life is good and you appear to be living it large !

I hope to join you folks if you ever make it down to Texas again for a bit of shooting --- im just up the road a few in Oklahoma

We will be heading your way in 2016 to hunt Caribou & Black Bear in Alaska, then on to Montana & Wyoming finishing up with a speed goat hunt in Colorado. I may get down your way if any of the guys want to take some exotics down in Hondo Texas. The following trip we will definitely take in the Tulsa gun show, as we found some real treasures there last April. I will give you plenty of notice when we are coming, it is great to catch up with fellow levergunners.

Your bison and elk mounts turned out very nice! I bet those are not common in your neighborhood!
