Flea Market find

Post by TedH »

Picked up these 7.62 blanks, and a full belt of Garand clips loaded with blank rounds. The seller didn't know anything about them apparently. He had the 7.62 tagged at $20, and the Garand stuff at $30. I ended up naming my own price and gave him $25 for both of them. Actually I have no idea of their worth either. Did I pay too much for a couple novelty items for the gun room?

I remember I used to see those around here a lot, but I've not seen any in several years now
Wouldn't know anything about the price
But they'll look good in the gun room
Come to think of it I had some ofem in my loading room at my old place
Think I'll go check on them

Our last gun show I picked up a couple of Garande en bloc loader clips that were both loaded with military FMJ with Salt Lake 45 headstamps. I have no idea what I gave for them since I bought a lot of stuff in a bundle. Probably around 8 to 10 bucks.

I think you done good. A guy always needs more stuff :D

Last time I bought some Garand stuff, it was a garage sale... 2,000 rnds for $20. I'm certain I did good... about 30 years ago... but still... :P :P

I think you got some good stuff at a price that won't break the bank. I'd be happy with it.

I don't know the prices that are current, but the memories that the belt of blanks for the M60 bring back would be worth what you paid.
